Apologies to John for not featuring this album earlier. Rave reviews have been seen across the net and I generally agree with most of them. Leap Of Faith is an album full of extremely catchy acoustic driven pop AOR tunes. John's direction is mid way between uptempo pop rockers and AOR ballads, all primarily driven by his voice and an acoustic guitar. The title track, Two Sides Of Love and Shangri-la are great examples of uplifting feel good songs, while First Night has the story-ballad feel of a John Cafferty 'Eddie & The Cruisers' type track. I Found You is comparable with Australia's own king of songwriting - the mainly acoustic driven Paul Kelly. The production quality varies a little throughout the album, but is generally of good quality, especially for a self financed released.
