Vick LeCar is back with a 6 track EP of new songs, bridging the gap between his good debut album and the still in progress second album. John Collura is the vocalist here, witha sound not unfamiliar to early Ratt / Stephen Pearcy. The sound of the material is a little more guitar dominated than Vick's debut album. This is a little more in your face and a little more straight ahead hard rock, than the sometimes bluesy debut. The sound is stripped way back and is quite raw, but it has definite attitude and I like the style and quality of the song writing. The production could have been sharper for sure. | |||
The musical style is close to that of early Ratt, Dokken, Motley Crue and even Great White maybe. All in their early years, mind you.
