Review
|
One Way Street is another (how many is that now?) Aerosmith tribute album.
But, being from the production house of Bob Kulick and Bruce Bouillet, you know this one is going to sound the goods.
Incidently - this is the seconf Aerosmith tribute album from Bob's studio's.
First to the album as a whole – I like what the guys have done with this album. There is good variety over the eras the tracks come from – from the classic to the new.
There is also variation in the personnel on board.
This is generally a rather hard rocking affair – with some super heavy Aerosmith impersonations from Tim Owens, Jack Russell and Glenn Hughes.
There are also a few softer more classic rock moments like Bobby Kimball's unique vocal take of What It Takes and the great Robin McAuley on the power ballad Angel.
Jeff Scott Soto is also awesome as always on the rock ballad Cryin'
There are some great people on this album and overlal, it's one of the better tribute albums to be released.
