Now this is the way live albums should be recorded! Live, loud, ballsy and not the hint of an overdub in sight. This record is taken from Paul's last tour and features a stack of tracks, all recorded live as they sounded on the night. There is nothing I hate more than an over dubbed live album (besides Simple Minds' awesome Live In The City Of Light opus). The atmosphere is great, the band is loud as hell, the vocals are way in your face and all Shortino fans will love it! Just about all the songs you could wish for are on the album, from the great anthems Love Me Till It Hurts, Love Line Annie to the harder numbers Nothing Comes Easy and Take Her and even a bluesy ballad, in the largely extended This Must Be Love. The best thing about the album is the extra life that is given to some of the numbers. Anyone who owns Shortino albums needs to invest in a copy of this. | ||
